This will teach you the rudimentary basics of how to put the story into the right format. No one in the business worth their salt will even read page one if they open it to see that you don’t know what you're doing. The paper will get flushed down the can with the doo doo quicker than you can say, "Wipe to the back." Once again, check the web. There are numerous web sites and message boards designed to deal with specific problems with structure and format. Have you enjoyed a film before? Go find the screenplay and read
it. That way you'll have a reference of how the images you saw on
screen were conceived in the written form. Once it's finished and your knuckles are aching from endless nights
of typing and laughing out loud at your computer monitor like a
crazed madman, submit it to festivals. There are hundreds of them
that call for submissions year round. Get noticed and make it happen,
